Well, not really. If you remove the bad apple fast enough, I doubt it would do much damage. But I would dare say that the bad apple is from a bad tree, obviously.
And once you tasted a bad apple, there is a high chance that you might be weary when you try the other apples. Can you imagine if the apple was so bad, it left a bad taste in your mouth afterwards which you would remember for life...
So when the next apple comes along, you wouldn't so readily pick it up and pop it in would you?
